What I actually do

No dashboards, no software, no guesswork — a field test of your real enquiry handling:

  1. You send the form below

    Your name, your email, your business name. That's the whole form.

  2. We talk briefly, and you name your rivals

    The four local firms you genuinely compete with for the same jobs. You know who they are better than any tool does.

  3. I enquire — with you and with them

    I submit a realistic enquiry to your business and to each of the four rivals, staggered over several days rather than fired off in one afternoon, and I time every reply: how long to the first response, and what that response actually was.

  4. Everyone contacted is told

    This is mystery shopping, and I do it in the open: every business I contact — yours and theirs — is told what the enquiry was in my first reply to them. Nothing goes as far as a site visit and nobody is asked to price a job that doesn't exist.

  5. You see the comparison

    A short call. You'll see how fast each of the five firms responded, side by side, and what a customer enquiring in your area actually experiences. Where you sit in that ranking is the finding.

What it costs you

Nothing in money. Your side of it is a minute on the form and two short calls — one to name the rivals, one to go through the results. The fieldwork is mine.

And to be straight about why it's free: this is how I start working relationships.
